Meet the farmer, Jada Ross.
Jada Ross, known as Farmer J, is the Lead Farmer at Peculiar Pig Farm and the founder of RHeritage Farm, tours and events.
A graduate of Charleston Southern University with a Bachelor of Science degree, Jada has a deep-rooted passion for agriculture that began in childhood while working alongside his grandfather on the family farm. Though his background is in mental health, his lifelong experience in farming has shaped his dedication to educating others about sustainable agriculture.
With a natural ability to connect with people of all ages, Jada has created an engaging farm tour program that offers educational experiences, birthday parties, and hands-on workshops. He has a special talent for working with children, making complex farming concepts easy to understand and exciting to explore. His tours also cater to college students and adult learners, providing in-depth discussions on food systems, sustainability, and ethical farming practices.
Through RHeritage Farm Tours, Farmer J is bridging the gap between communities and agriculture, inspiring the next generation to appreciate where their food comes from and the work that goes into producing it.
